Generated-Code & On-Chain License Terms

Effective May 14, 2026

1. Your ownership of generated code

Subject to your compliance with our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, ForkD LLC assigns to you all rights, title, and interest we may hold in the source code, configuration files, ZIP packages, and other build artifacts the ForkD planner generates for you in response to your prompts (collectively, the "Generated Code"). You may use, modify, sublicense, and publish the Generated Code in your own apps without further royalty to ForkD, subject to Sections 3 and 4 below.

2. No warranty

Generated Code is produced by large language models and AI orchestration pipelines and is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind. ForkD does not warrant that the Generated Code is free of bugs, security vulnerabilities, infringing material, or that it will pass App Store / Play Store review. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and securing the Generated Code before shipping it.

3. Guardian on-chain license

Every app generated through ForkD ships with a Guardian license record — a program-derived address (PDA) on the Solana devnet that is created and (when our server-wallet signer is configured) signed via the Anchor program operated by ForkD. The PDA carries metadata that identifies the license key, the app, and a fee split (currently 5% platform fee on standard apps, 4% on certain templates).

By using the Service to generate an app, you agree that the Guardian fee split applies to any revenue events your generated app reports through the Guardian client library, and that we may collect that fee on-chain when the upstream payment is settled.

4. What the on-chain license does — and does not — do

  • It does record a public, immutable license PDA on the Solana devnet identifying your app and its fee split.
  • It does route the configured platform fee to ForkD's vault on each reported revenue event.
  • It does not enforce the fee against parties who do not call the Guardian client (i.e., it is honor-system + client-side instrumentation, not a cryptographic seizure of payments).
  • It does not grant any equity, security, voting right, governance claim, dividend, or expectation of profit from ForkD LLC or any other person.
  • It does not constitute legal, tax, or investment advice.

5. Not a security; not a broker-dealer

ForkD LLC is not a registered broker-dealer, investment adviser, money services business, or virtual-asset service provider. The Guardian on-chain license is a software-licensing instrument, not a security, and is not offered or sold as an investment. No statement on the ForkD platform should be construed as an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security.

6. Third-party components

Generated Code may include open-source dependencies (e.g., Expo, React Native, AsyncStorage, Privy SDK). Those components remain subject to their own upstream licenses, which you are responsible for honoring.

7. Minimum age

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to generate, license, or distribute apps built with the Service. The on-chain license PDA cannot be issued to an under-18 account.

8. Service providers in the generation and licensing pipeline

Generating, previewing, building, and licensing your app touches the following processors: MongoDB (project + license record persistence), OpenRouter (Claude) (AI code generation), Expo / EAS (cloud builds and App Store / Play Store submission), Expo Snack (in-browser preview), Cloudinary (any uploaded media bundled into your app), Stripe (subscription billing for the builder), Twilio (Guardian phone verification used to gate publishing actions), Privy (server-wallet signing for Guardian transactions), Resend and web-push providers (build / license notifications), Solana devnet and the Guardian Anchor program (on-chain license PDA and fee settlement), and the ForkD marketplace backend at forkdme.com (license dashboard and earnings). See the Privacy Policy for full purpose-of-processing details.

9. Governing law

These License Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, USA. Questions: support@forkdme.com.
